Advocacy for the Blind
Services for blind and vision-impaired people include provision of information, peer support through local branches and
individual & systemic advocacy in dealing with government & the community.
The organisation also works with government bodies to influence policy.
A national newsletter, ‘Blind Citizens News’, is published twice yearly and is distributed to all members in Braille, CD or large print.
The newsletter is also available on the BCA internet home page, on data CD and by email.
The CD magazine, ‘SoundAbout’, with news and telephone interviews, is produced quarterly.
Office Hours: 9.00am to 5.00pm, Mon to Fri.
Annual Membership Fees apply.
