In 2012 Council completed the upgrade of the Bon Thomas Reserve Suburban Park playground. This upgrade, which is part of implementing our Creating Better Parks Policy and Plan, has provided the community with a play space offering a range of play opportunities for children including the existing basketball half court. The upgrade also offers a shelter and picnic tables for community gatherings. The planting of new trees around the playground will provide additional shelter as they grow.
