Council has completed the Calder Rise Reserve Neighbourhood Park. This upgrade has provided a much improved play and picnic space for the local community.
The park upgrade has included new picnic tables, seating, bin, drinking fountain, gravel and concrete paving, surrounded by garden beds and plantings of advanced Claret Ash and Eucalypts. A large grassed area surrounded by Golden Elms has been constructed next to the picnic space to provide an informal shaded retreat. The upgrade features new playground equipment, including; a giant ‘Spida’ climbing net tower, 4m wave slide, hammock, cubby and lookout tower.
