Disability Advocacy
DARU resources the disability advocacy sector and disability advocates by providing professional development & training
and supporting disability advocates and those who have disabilities to bring about positive changes in policy, legislation and practices.
The Unit also organises forums, offers a clearing house to support advocacy efforts and provides links to broader social policy
and generic advocacy.
