Flexible Respite & Family Support
Extended Families are funded to provide a flexible respite service for families of infants, children and young people 0 to 18 years old with disabilities. The service provides a volunteer who gives regular respite for families by way of visiting, social
contact and support to enhance the social & emotional development of children and young people with disabilities. The volunteers are dedicated, mature people supported by the management of qualified regional coordinators.
Cost To Clients: Enquire.
Availability: Waiting list applies.
Referral: Self or agency.
Assessment: Qualified staff assesses families and volunteers.
Special Requirements: Volunteers require a police check, a working with children check and two referees.
