Emergency Relief
Emergency relief in the form of fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, bread, eggs and milk is available for families and singles in
demonstrable need.
Referral: Self or agency.
Special Requirements: Must be in receipt of a Health Care Card or pension card.
The impairment must prevent them from working, or completing educational or vocational training, for at least the next
two years.
Permanently blind people qualify automatically.
