Starts: Rowlandson Place, Taylors Lakes
(north of Watergardens Town Centre)

Ends: Burrowye Crescent, Keilor

Length: approximately 8.5km

Ride your bike or take a stroll through the beautiful Taylors Creek Valley and then on past huge River Red Gums and remnants of ancient lava flows to parkland in Burrowye Crescent, Keilor and through The Lakes Reserve in Taylors Lakes. The trail then winds its way past Rutherglen Way playground to the Watergardens Town Centre and then crosses the highway into other areas of Taylors Lakes.

You’ll discover the diversity of birdlife, natural landscapes and wetlands as you ride your bike or stroll through the magnificent Taylors Creek Valley.

Enjoy the views and the great display of native vegetation, the huge River Red Gums which are hundreds of years old, and if you’re lucky you will come across some wildlife. Remnant grasslands line the creek and there are several sites of major Aboriginal cultural significance. Taylors Creek, like all of the waterways in Brimbank, were places of significance for First Nations People for food, culture and gatherings.
